They don’t make things like they used to, but we are proud to say the tradition of quality is alive and well right here on Grand Avenue.

We took this skillet out for a little stroll right outside our storefront. This piece of iron was forged between 1910-1920, likely a little after these red bricks were set down historic Grand Avenue, and all before the beautiful Marland Building we call home, was completed in 1928.

It’s amazing to think the very same element that gives this over century-old skillet its legendary strength is the exact same element reinforcing this 98 year-old building. Iron is the ultimate foundation. It doesn't break, it doesn't give up. 🖤
