Oven under construction! Matt Helicke of Lefthand Masonry, LLC and Joe Janowski have been hard at work building our 20 ton (!) wood-fired masonry oven. Its been a lot of fun having these guys in the house with us, and pretty mind blowing to see this oven coming together, brick by brick.

I just got back from Las Vegas helping the Masonry Heater Association of North America build a Masonry heater that we had on display at the World of Concrete/Masonry expo. Thanks to Jerry, Jim, Pat and Derrick Frisch for making this happen, it was a great experience!
