A restful room doesn’t have to feel flat. A quiet palette can look effortless, but making it feel warm takes intention: grasscloth walls, warm woods, layered fabrics, crackled ceramic and a touch of metal, each one chosen to play off the others. That’s the part of design you don’t always see, and it’s what makes a room like this feel special.

Gather and golf! We designed this handsome cabana and bar to to include a golf simulator, bar, and separate half bath. This space was designed with flexible furnishings, room to move, hard working LVP flooring that looks similar to the wood floors in the main house, and this moody blue bar featuring beverage storage and space for the TV. We think this is the perfect place to step out of the heat (or the rain!), to gather, golf, and enjoy the game.

We love designing kitchens around the way our clients actually gather. This breakfast room is proof that elegant design, functional features, and whimsical personality can all thrive in the same space.

➡Custom table, with a sculptural pedestal base; with no legs at the corners, there's always room to pull up another chair.
➡Two-tone woven chairs add a traditional coastal element, coordinating with the heart pine floors and mix of wood finishes throughout the home.
➡And... radishes. A print nobody sees coming.

We're pretty sure we're not the only ones that end up hanging out in the kitchen! This one was designed to maximize opportunities for conversation, gathering, and circulation to the adjoining spaces.

A long island, shown with 4 woven stools but room for 5, and enough counter to spread out; this kitchen was designed for the way the family actually spends an evening. The marble star mosaic adds interest and pattern, the color palette is subtle and soothing, while the darker wood and iron details add contrast to keep it from feeling precious. Bonus points for a window that can stack back and act as a pass through to the grill master outside.

Save this one for your own kitchen!

Composed and colorful. We love a comfortable, family-friendly space that doesn't ask you to choose between sophisticated and happy. Case in point: this gathering room invites everyone in the family to kick off their shoes and stay awhile. A hand-knotted Oushak in washed sea blues, with colorful accesnts and warm neutrals anchors the room. It's layered against a green textured-stripe ottoman and finished with white draperies featuring an orange embroidered trim — pattern-on-pattern that works because the palettes play together. Effortless, collected, and made to actually be lived in.

What do you prefer... Sophisticated or happy? (We say both 🩵!)
