27 South Home Group (formerly 27 South Design Group, LLC) was founded in 2014 by John & Whitney Spinks. This entrepreneurial husband and wife duo, originally from Indiana, relocated to North Florida in 2010. From being the top college graduate in her class, to him serving overseas in the U.S. military, to competing on and later hosting their own HGTV show – failure is not an option. And they waste no time pushing the limits of what they can accomplish with any project.

The evolution of the ! 🌴 This custom home was a lot of fun to design and build! The first 4 photos show the completed home, and the other 6 will walk you back in time. In the photo of John reviewing the form boards, he is measuring every single wall and corner, as well as the plumbing rough-in, to ensure they align perfectly with the architectural plans. The concrete slab for the home is poured next! 👷🏡

Before vs After of the ! Swipe to see how this space was previously a sunken living room. The house was very dark and compartmentalized, so we brought the floor up to make it level and reconfigured the floorplan of the entire house. So much lighter & brighter! Just a few final steps and this one will be wrapped! 😍 @ Neptune Beach, Florida
