This is why I choose to work with faux flowers. My amazing daughter and her husband gave me these flowers as a Mother's Day gift when they were vibrant orange roses. Sadly, within a few days, their appearance had deteriorated to this.
Is it possible for us get beyond the way we’ve thought about artificial flowers, and embrace them the same way we’ve embraced artificial nails?

I’m 5’9” , holding the swag in the first pic, and hubby is holding the swag in the second picture. I’m shocked that this things dwarf’s his nearly 6 foot self!
But, our neighbor knew exactly how big she needed it to be. She wanted enough coverage over the glass in her front door, to give her a little privacy,but still have the possibility to see through the remaining glass. Mission accomplished! Thanks for trusting me with your vision, Nicole!

I love it when people send inspiration pictures! Then I have a clearer idea of what they’d like me to make for them. She loved the look of the basket full of flowers, but she also loved the bow on the second one. In the end, she trusted me to blend both and make her something she knew her Mom would love!
