The Flaming Apron No matter if you’re cooking in a small kitchen with pots with no handles, or if you’re cooking in a gourmet space remember the flame is always the same!

My passion for cooking blossomed during summers with my grandmother, Grandma Alice, in her cozy vintage kitchen in Columbus, Georgia. She, along with Aunt Ida and other church ladies, were culinary maestros, creating delectable dishes from gumbo to peach cobbler. Their love and wisdom inspired my own culinary journey, carrying forward their cherished traditions and flavors. Cooking, I've learned,

isn't about fancy kitchens but the love and care you infuse into your meals. I'm deeply grateful for the culinary legacy they've imparted, and it's thanks to these remarkable women, including my mom, "Dot," that I continue to explore the wonderful world of food. From simple, humble kitchens to gourmet setups, the essence of cooking remains constant. Cook with your best, and the results will speak for themselves. My culinary journey owes much to the women who welcomed me into their kitchens, where they transformed everyday ingredients into beautiful works of art matter if your kitchen is small, without frills, or fancy equipment, one window, pots without handles, or a gourmet kitchen with sub-zero appliances, the flame is always the same!. Cook your best and watch the outcome.
