TODAY from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Catawba Community Center located at 3307 NW Catawba Rd. on Catawba Island. Every year, on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, hundreds of people attend the annual Plant Sale hosted by the Catawba Island Garden Club (CIGC) to buy flowers for their mothers, perennials and annuals for their gardens, herbs for their kitchens, and native plants for a boost to the local environment.
