Kraft Studio Works

Kraft Studio Works Stethoscope to stretched canvas—moving between abstraction and realism. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner who swapped scrubs for paintbrushes.

As a former psychiatric NP, I focus on creating bold, unique work that energizes, connects, and heals.
🎨🖌️🫟💜 After decades in healthcare, I turned to art as a form of healing and never looked back. Now, I create abstract and mixed media pieces from my kitchen-turned-studio—messy, meaningful, and full of color. My work is about connection, emotion, and finding beauty in the chaos.

Introducing “The Shape of Tenderness”
Part of my The Language of Us series, No 3

Sometimes you have to step away from your work to gain perspective. This piece has travelled through many variations and finally arrived at its destination. Much like in life and relationships.

It needed a few final touches today and I’m loving where this sits- such a soothing piece.

If you love this let me know, it could be yours.
11x14, acrylic on cotton canvas panel. This will be framed soon.

Well, I finally pulled this piece out to work on after 5 months!! lol Anytime I do realistic work it’s stressful because the perfectionist comes into play which is no fun for me. However, this is a special piece and I’m determined to complete it soon for the St Clair Art Fair time. It’s near and dear to my heart and a canvas print was promised to the Blue Water Convention Center. Stay tuned … 😀 💕🎨
