I think the most powerful thing I read today was an email from .zero.waste that reminded us why Earth Day started almost 60 years ago.

Skylines in the 70s were so covered with thick smog that the pollution problem just couldn’t be ignored.

Millions demonstrated and it was that pressure that led to the creation of the EPA, the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.

So no matter what your cause is, Earth Day reminds us that when you show up - change happens. So let’s continue to show up for what matters. 🌎
