✨a little extra✨ Designing this master closet, the goal was to combine functional storage, the convenience of a laundry stack and beauty by adding a unique agate chandelier. A folding surface & enclosure for the washer & dryer are forthcoming and will finish off the space beautifully.

✨ancient modern✨ People often ask how to design a home that feels “current”, while avoiding passing trends. For me, it’s selecting patterns, materials & details that have been in design & architecture for hundreds of years, but interpreted in a fresh way. This absolutely gorgeous natural stone pattern has its roots in ancient Mesopotamia.

✨a little extra✨ The classic shaker cabinet door profile has become the go to for kitchens everywhere - especially in coastal homes & cottages. But by adding another small molding detail, it’s easy to up the style quotient while keeping things clean & simple.

✨natural✨ This home has an impressive facade, which called for equally impressive details. I chose oversized, cypress brackets that we will keep in their natural color. This integrates the woodsy surroundings of Indian Pass into the design of the home. We used natural cedar shakes to clad the upper tower, bringing that element all the way up.

✨throwback thursday✨ This 2018 project is one of the most interesting I’ve worked on and definitely the most dramatic transformation.
