It’s not too late for linen!

I can’t be the only one who’s still hanging onto summer 😅I know the early 2000s rule is no linen past Labor Day, but in recent years with heat waves lasting through late October, our “summer” clothes usually get to stay out a little longer 😝.

These light weigh breathable linen pants are perfect for so many occasions, maybe a night walk on the beach, or an outdoor concert, a day of apple picking or even a small hike! These pants are fun, comfy, lightweight and they have pockets!

I’m almost there ❤️😅

Almost done posting all my tie dye items up to my website! But I think I’ll need the rest of the day to finish 😅. I’ll officially open all the listings on my website Tomorrow Morning 8/15 at 8 am ❤️🌈.

Melted Rainbows drop coming soon 👀🌈👀

I feel like I’ve been such a mess this summer with making time for Melted Rainbows, so I had to hop on this silly reel trend to break the ice, and remind myself my purpose is to be a creative hot lil weirdo on this floating hunk of rock 😂.

I have finally gotten around to photographing and uploading the tie dyes I’ve made this summer! I’ve already uploaded quite a few things including men’s loose fit tank tops, some kid dresses and rompers, and new t-shirts. Now I am focusing on the two new pants styles and adult rompers that I made up! Im hoping to have everything uploaded and ready to go by Friday morning 8/14 ❤️. Stay tuned!!!!

I have some LOVELY FRIENDS coming over to be some Melted Rainbows Models for me this week 💜. I normally just try and model everything myself or with my mannequins, but that doesn’t really show the true fit for any size but my own. So grateful to have lovely friends that are happy to come over and play dress up 💜. Cannot wait to show you guys all the pretty things 🌈

From one busy weekend to the next 😅

My entire month of June consisted of work, Work, AND MORE WORK! If I’m such a workaholic, I’m grateful my career choices are making rainbows and protecting wildlife ❤️. Both of my jobs fill my soul with so much joy, that even when they steal every bit of my energy and every bit of my free time away from me, they are worth every second of hard work.

I meant to post this video last week during the busy 4th of July Holiday weekend. I was a wildlife warrior and tried to limit as much disturbance as possible around beach nesting birds during a 100 degree heat wave (aka everyone wants to go to the beach!). This was after my two biggest vending events of the year and me making over 200 new tie dye garments last month (all in the tiny slivers of free time I had). Lol to say I was tired is an understatement 🤣 but I always pull it together and say”for the birds!!!” And now I must pull it together and say “for the hippies” and do another long day of work taking pictures of all the things I made and get them up onto my website for y’all to see!

If you want first dibs on any of my fresh new styles 🌈🌈you’ll just have to come see them in person this Saturday, June 27th, at the Rose Arts Festival in Norwich CT!

I did have done 4 batches of tie dye about this size this month. So I have lots of new styles!!! Lots of jumpers (full pant length and shorts), lace cardigans, 2 new styles of pants, loose fit tank styles for guys, kids and baby clothes, and so many new accessories! I have a lot of inventory to post to the website. But that will have to wait for next week 🙂 so if you want first dibs PLEASE COME TO ROSE ARTS 🌈🌈🌈

I am so excited to be going back to this event for the 4th time ❤️. (WOW 🥹 can’t believe I’ve been at this for 4 years now!) I also am extra excited because one of my favorite artists Mihali is headlining the festival!!! I get to listen to my favorite music and see so many of my favorite frends!

Prepping for Pride 🌈

Tomorrow’s almost here and I can’t wait! Middletown Pride Festival is one of my favorite vending events of the year! Such an amazing event with so much LOVE in my local community. There will be all sorts of activities including a vendor market where you can find me and my Melted Rainbows 11-7!!

The snow has finally melted and spring has officially sprung 🌸

It was a long grey snowy winter in New England and I am so excited to watch all the color come back into the world. Tie dye is the perfect way to match the world around you and feel like your own little spring bud.
These hoodies are the perfect over-layer for every season, but you truly won’t find me in anything else during this breezy time of year 😂.

I’ve been quieter on social media these days. One reason being I have recently moved into a new apartment, and I cannot cover it in tie dye 🤣, and it’s been rather cold and snowy to dance around making tic tocs (for me anyways!). And another reason being every time I open a social media app my heart breaks, and I feel hardly anything but powerless to this seemingly cruel artificial world.

I don’t know what to do, or what to say that will make a difference. But I do know that creating art is necessary, especially in the darkest of times.
Rainbows and colors make people happy. Wearing my art makes me, and so many other people happy. That is an amazing honor I cannot throw away just because times get tough or dark.

Some of you have been asking me if I’m still doing my tie dye thing, and where I will be this summer... I am still doing my tie dye thing 🌈💜, but just a little slow and steady these days. I may get out to a few events this summer but it may also be a more online based summer for Melted Rainbows.

So don’t forget me I am still here ❤️.
