Here’s another sneak peek at some of the new items I’ve been working on! Not all of the pieces are shown here, but I wanted to share a little preview of what’s been keeping me busy.

I’ve been pouring every spare minute into creating, whether it’s before work, after work, in-between flying off to conferences, running a middle school volleyball camp, and the whirlwind of the end of the school year. To tell you the truth, I’m pretty tired, but I’m also incredibly excited to be at UNH this weekend and finally share these new creations with you.

I can’t wait to see familiar faces, meet new people, and hear which pieces speak to you. See you this weekend!

Here’s a sneak peek at some authentic New England sea glass pieces that have recently found their way into the studio!
Over the next several seacoast shows, you’ll start seeing more and more genuine sea glass incorporated into my mixed media artwork. Each piece has been naturally weathered by the ocean over decades, creating those beautiful frosted surfaces and soft edges that only time and the sea can produce.
I can’t wait to share the finished creations with you. Stay tuned for new coastal inspired pieces coming soon!�🌊💚⚓

Framed within a rare vintage square window, a mermaid has found her peaceful seaside retreat. She rests upon a weathered piece of driftwood collected from Wilmington, Vermont, while a magnificent wave rises beside her, created from the broken glass of a vintage Ball jar.

Below, sands gathered from Fort Lauderdale surround a large sea urchin and delicate starfish, treasures left behind by the tide. Above, a bright sun crafted from Sandwich glass shines across the scene, its pineapple design symbolizing warmth, hospitality, and endless summer days.

This piece brings together treasures from the shore, fragments of history, and a touch of imagination to tell the story of a hidden coastal oasis where the sea and sunshine meet

Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend for the Brimfield North Flea Market at Hopkinton Fairgrounds. Even with the rainy weather today, so many of you showed up to support the vendors and made the entire weekend feel incredibly special.

I’m so grateful that 38 pieces of artwork found new homes, but even more meaningful were the conversations, connections, stories, and nostalgia shared throughout the weekend. From talking mineral collecting, and mineral clubs, to hearing memories sparked by vintage pieces in my space, there were so many moments that reminded me why I love doing this.

One of the best parts was reconnecting with people I haven’t seen in years and spending time with fellow vendors. I truly feel part of this community, whether it’s alongside artisans at markets or vintage dealers at flea markets. My artwork feels like a bridge between those two worlds, and I’m deeply grateful for the people in both.

I am also incredibly grateful for those thoughtful amazing people who walk around the flea market and purchase items that they believe will be amazing in a piece of artwork. It is so fun having people return to my booth with trinkets they are excited for me to use.

A huge thank you to Brimfield Antique Shows for organizing such an amazing event, especially bringing it to a brand new location with so many unknowns. And thank you to Hopkinton Fairgrounds for hosting all of us this weekend.

And, to top it all off, I even got another giant fruit selfie. Back in April it was a giant blueberry, and this weekend it was a giant lemon. Life really doesn’t get much better than that.

From Where It Was Found: The Journey Behind the Artwork

I will be sharing a short series meant to pull back the curtain and share what’s behind each piece of artwork you see here or at the markets. My intention is to introduce or re-introduce the materials, the places they came from, and the journeys they’ve taken before becoming part of something new.

Each piece is more than just a beautiful combination of materials.

Every post will offer a glimpse into the hidden stories behind the glass, wood, sand, and found objects — not just as materials, but as pieces of history and travel.

It is also meant to reflect the many hours, miles, care, creativity, monies spent and effort that go into each piece, including the physical work and occasional challenges that come with gathering and transforming these materials.

I’m also always in search of new locations to continue this work, whether it’s places to responsibly collect broken glass, a riverbend known for beautiful driftwood, or a hidden stretch of shoreline where the sand feels a little more special.

Most importantly, this series is a way of truly appreciating everyone who has given a home to a piece of artwork, taken the time to stop and talk with me about my work, or follows this page and offers ongoing support, encouragement, and validation.

You are also part of the journey!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Squam Lake this weekend. Whether you stopped by to chat, shared kind words about my work, or took a piece home with you, I truly appreciate your support. These shows mean so much, and it is always special to connect with both familiar faces and new ones.

A special thank you to Cottage Place at Squam Lake for hosting such a beautiful event and creating a space for all of us to gather.
