Robin dived into the modern movement and how that has affected the way we approach design today. How getting to understand your client on a deeper level can help you truly understand how to design a space that speaks to their parasympathetic nervous system.

It’s good think about how we can update our practices so we can approach every client and project with Solutogenic design which can help us as designers help clients find more balance mentally and emotionally through interiors.

Last night’s Shark Tank at CFM Tigard was FIN-tastic 🦈

Reps and vendors brought the heat with incredible presentations with a lot of engaging questions from our Sharks!

We were able to raise $2500 for through this event!

Everyone absolutely crushed it and survived the shark attack!

Huge THANK YOU to all who participated in the presentation, Garrett and the CFM Tigard location and to everyone who came out to support. You made the night unforgettable!

We got into some amazing debates at the KBIS recap panel at intrepid last night!

Some highlights:
Awards, awards, AWARDS! There are many design competitions with large cash prizes that you can enter every year, we highly encourage you to look into them on the website!

✨Allison Hedrick won this year’s student kitchen design competition!

⭐️Hannah Hacker of won the Large Showroom Innovation Award for the Bend Basco Showroom!

💫Emma Winn of received the Chapter Star Award for best programs chair!

🌟Karissa McMillen .pdxdesignrep was in this year’s class of Thirty under 30!

We discussed the state of the industry and association that was presented by at which was full of insightful knowledge!

We were thrilled to have an open discussion about trends, innovations and what to look out for. Thank you to everyone who attended and a special thank you to for hosting!
