Come spend the day shopping, exploring and supporting small businesses in one of the most charming, historic settings in New Hampshire! Entrance and parking are free.

My sweet Pepe is in surgery right now to determine if a rapidly growing lump on the bottom of his foot is cancer.

Unfortunately, the surgeon needs to remove his entire toe for the biopsy.

I walked into the appointment this morning carrying my beautiful boy (and the hope that the vet would look at the lump and declare it was nothing). Instead, she recommended immediate surgery and I left empty-handed and heavy-hearted.

I’m going to take some time away from VCD to help Pepe heal while we wait for the results from the biopsy. In the meantime, send all the healing vibes you can spare?

PUPDATE: The surgeon did not like the look of the surrounding tissue so had to remove another toe. 😔
