The Fiber Art of MAGDA SAYEG

We are so excited to share the work of Magda Sayeg at our Poughkeepsie and Hudson stores.

Magda transforms everyday objects with colorful knitted and crocheted yarn.

“The work is about displacement: taking soft, hand-made material and putting it where it doesn’t seem to belong. When scale shifts and context changes, familiar things become something else entirely.”

Magda’s “yarn bombing” has been on display around the world. Her work comes to us by way of the Satchi Gallery in London.
