My restock this week is near and dear to my heart. 💚 I started my journey into plant collecting with rare orchids. So I am so excited to share with you the psygmorchis pusilla and the schoenorchis fragrans. These mini orchids are mounted on wood or tree fern and secured with spaghnum moss. The psygmorchis are loaded with flower spikes. 😍 They pretty much just bloom non stop.

Episcia known as the Flame Violet are close cousins to African Violets. These things grow along the forest floors of South America. They are stoloniferous which means they produce stolons like a strawberry begonia, producing little plantlets (offsets) on the tips of runners making them spread fast and propagate itself. They produce tubular flowers that come in a range of colors. They thrive best in an east facing window and they need watered VERY frequently. It's not a plant you want to let dry out or sit in water.

Take it from me...they do not ship well. I've had so many die in transit. So I only have a few available.

Hey Boo! 💋 If you know me, you know that my whole vibe is African Violets in coffee cups. Nothing more adorable than a kitchen window sill or a desk with a coffee cup plant. My motto is plants and coffee (and dogs).

Spanish Moss (Tillandsia usneoides) is native to the humid and warm areas of the Americas. It isn't a moss it is actually an epiphytic bromeliad more closely related to pineapple. Blooming spring thru summer, its hard to believe this tiny thing fills the plant shop with a sweet intense floral smell during the evening and early morning hours. If it wasn't for the fact that it smelled so amazing last night I would have missed these tiny things blooming.

African Violets will always remind me of my husband's grandma. She had the prettiest little collection which inspired me to start collecting hybridized ones. A few of you are lucky to have a few from me. At any rate, I finally have some classics in the shop. This one is definitely eye catching.

I just want you all to know how much I adore carnivorous plants. People are so intimidated by them. They are such an easy care plant. Distilled water, bright light and an occasional creepy crawler.
I have three varieties of Nepenthes currently. The Alata, St. Gaya and Ventricosa.
Also have cape sundews as well.
