The stand is all set up!

I’ve got some small & large mason jar arrangements of flowers from my garden. There’s a couple dozen farm fresh eggs. & I’ve even set out a few of my handmade earrings created with real pressed flowers.

I’m not sure how many much longer I’ll have flowers this summer, so swing by before the season is over!

Me & Rowdy have been out cutting flowers this morning. I’ll have some arrangements set up in the farmstand tomorrow! 8 am to noon.

Will also have some eggs available.

I’m a firm believer that adding art into your home should be because the piece brings you joy or a sense of comfort. It doesn’t have to match everything else in order to deserve a spot in your space.

Art is about the connection it has with you, not your walls.

But, for those who are afraid to take the leap of buying work simply because it doesn’t match the “muted farmhouse” aesthetic that’s so popular these days, I wanted to show off some pieces of mine while they are framed.

I, personally, love the simplicity of a wood frame. The natural look almost grounds my work. My paintings are very colorful & full of a fantasized view on life. These wood frames really tone things down, but without taking away from the painting.

So, if you’ve fallen in love with any piece of artwork, but struggle to bring it home because you’re worried about its correlation with the rest of your home, remember this:

If it brings you joy, that’s enough reason alone. But, if how it ties into your space is an issue, matting & framing can help bring it all together to suit your style.

Today’s the day! My National Parks will be available in my Etsy shop at 8 am.

I’m a little slow moving this morning. It’s now 7:45 & I just rolled out of bed.. because holy cow, Rowdy decided he did not want to sleep much last night. So, I’m a bit behind. But, all paintings & prints from this collection will be available at (or around) 8.

My “Dry Tortugas National Park” painting is one of the pieces from this collection. The original painting is a matted to fit in a 9x12 frame of your choice. It also comes in 2 print sizes, 5x7 & 8x10.
