Bath #1 in the seasonal retreat! We modernized the vanity and added beautiful tile to the shower to really change the feel of this bathroom! Before and Afters of a seasonal lake retreat.

This project was so fun to help redesign! We eliminated the wall that was in the middle of the kitchen to open up the space and allow extra room for an island.

The quartz countertop was also used behind the hood which created a great focal point.

The openings above the sink were made larger to take full advantage of the lake views.

We used a mix of painted and stained white oak cabinetry to keep everything light and fresh.

So thankful for such amazing clients who are “neighbors” on both Lake Wisconsin and Sanibel who have become great friends!

A butler’s pantry that’s just as beautiful as it is functional. 🤍

This space was designed to do it all—glass cabinetry to showcase collectible serving pieces, plenty of concealed storage for dry goods and small appliances, and an extra refrigerator for overflow.

The farmhouse sink and additional counter space also turn it into the perfect bar and prep area when entertaining a crowd. Everything has a place, while still creating a space you actually want to show off.

✨ Warm wood tones, soft neutrals, and timeless details come together in this thoughtfully designed kitchen by Traci Rauner Design.

The warmth of the reeded white oak cabinetry creates beautiful contrast against the soft beige painted perimeter cabinets, giving the space depth while maintaining a light, inviting feel. The full-height quartz backsplash and clean-lined hood keep the design feeling fresh and refined, while leaving intentional space on either side of the hood for elegant sconces—a finishing detail that will add warmth, balance, and layered lighting.

Every element was carefully selected to create a kitchen that's as functional as it is beautiful, proving that timeless design is all about thoughtful proportions, quality materials, and purposeful details.

A big transformation with this beauty! We took multiple walls down, which opened up the space from when you enter the front door as well as the back! The sunken living room was filled in to make the floor level, the beam was cut down so it wasn’t so obtrusive, and new windows and doors were added. The large 5’ x 12’ island is the centerpiece for cooking and entertaining. The entire first floor has now become a light filled gathering place for friends and family:)

☕️ Imagine starting every morning with a cup of coffee and a panoramic view of the lake from this bright new kitchen.

When the homeowners purchased this home, the existing kitchen was functional—but it didn’t fit their vision. They wanted a lighter, more open space with improved traffic flow to the dining and living areas, along with room for their dream Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

By removing part of the entry wall and relocating two windows, we were able to completely transform the layout and check every item off their wish list.

The result: a timeless kitchen that feels more spacious, works beautifully for cooking and entertaining, and takes full advantage of the incredible lake views.
