I have been finding myself wanting to do more "traditional" granny hobbies, which includes things like doily and lace making 🪡🧵

What a difference it makes taking the time to actually block out your project! It can be so tedious, but it's so worth it..

I gifted this one to my sister in law as a belated birthday present, along with some other goodies that I thought would for sure fit right in to her esthetic for their country home..

This pattern is called Peacock Pride, found in one of my doily pattern books🦚

I finished this beautiful Waffle Stitch Blanket a while ago, and wanted to share it as it has been donated to a local raffle🎀

This blanket is very cozy and the blend of front and back post double crochet stitches give it a very cool texture, just like waffles 🧇 of course!

The colors remind me of a favorite ice cream of mine called Tuxedo.. with blends of vanilla, coffee, and dark chocolate flavors..and I plan on getting more color combinations to try in the future!

I hope it will bring someone comfort and warmth this coming winter..

This one was made earlier this year while Joshua and I went upstate to the mountains in a beautiful log cabin..🌄

It was the perfect pattern for the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Covert, and should keep them warm for years to come..

Finally working on something for Joshua and I..

I call it an ode to our Thirty’s, as there is a yarn called, Roaring Thirty’s, and unlucky for us, that is just around the corner!🥂🖤

This picture just does not do this lovely yarn justice..

I cannot wait to show you what this will be, but until then..

117 more granny squares to make.. and a whole lot more to block before assembly!

I’ve been busy crocheting along through the summer!☀️

I can finally share these baby blankets that I made, and that are finally gifted to my sister in laws..

A baby girl, and a baby boy will be joining our family in just a few short weeks, and I cannot wait for more baby snuggles!!!💕

Happy National Handmade Day!

It’s not very well known yet, however it’s making a come back..

Believe it or not this is my 3rd work in progress of the year, and 2 more blankets are on other hooks waiting to be finished!

Trying to soak in these early mornings of just me time, before the girls wake, and my mom duties kick in..
