One of my favorite parts of Christmas isn't just decorating—it's finding thoughtful gifts that make someone feel loved.

For me, it's my kitchen. Between baking fresh sourdough, making my morning coffee, and adding a few simple touches like a favorite plant or a handmade piece of décor, it's a space that makes me smile every day.

I've learned that creating a cozy home isn't about having a perfectly decorated house. It's about filling your space with the little things that bring you comfort and joy.

My Favorite Place To Slow Down

One of my favorite places to be is right here on my porch. There's something so peaceful about sitting outside with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds, and taking in the fresh air.

It's a simple part of my day, but that helps me slow down and appreciate the little things.

Every house has that one spot that's the coziest...and somehow our pets always find it first!

Burgs and Dora definitely claimed thier favorite napping spot, and if I'm honest, I don't think they're going to give it up for anything.

One thing I love to do on Sundays is spend a little time getting our home ready for the week ahead.

For me, it isn't about making everything perfect. It's about creating a home that feels peaceful and welcoming. Sometimes that means tidying up, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, opening the windows, or adding a few cozy touches that make me smile.

I've found that taking even a few minutes to reset helps me start Monday feeling calmer and more organized.
