The votes are in, and our favorite window girl has an official identity! 😎 She might stand completely still all day, but her commitment to sustainable fashion is moving mountains.

You chose this name because our beautiful state of Maine is absolutely covered in ferns--especially this time of year! We think it perfectly captures her earthy, green, & low-waste spirit.

🌶️ Spice Update: Restock Delay 🚧

Many of you have been asking about our spice selection & we wanted to share why restocking is still on hold!

Each bag of spices we sell is hand-packed right here in store by our amazing staff. With our kitchen under construction, we cannot safely (or legally—due to State licensing rules) pack spices at the moment.

Need something specific? We’re happy to special order in 1/4lb or 1lb quantities. These will come in their original manufacturer packaging (usually a heat-sealed mylar bag).

We appreciate your patience as we work through this phase of the remodel—our kitchen will be back in action soon, and so will our spice shelves! 🌟

WOW! 😮We are absolutely thrilled our shop took home the Honorable Mention for "Best Shopping" in the Best of Aroostook Awards this week!

We came in right behind the legendary Marden's and honestly, taking second place to a Maine institution famous for rescuing salvaged and overstock finds feels like a win. ♻️ Keeping perfectly good items out of the garbage is exactly the kind of sustainability we love to see!

Not a hot sauce fan? 🌶️ Sure, sure. You probably just haven’t tried The Hill Gardens yet. These classically fermented, small-batch beauties from Fort Fairfield are proof that local tastes better—like, WAY better.

And, we just restocked our best-sellers! Say hello to Pickle Tickle, County Que, Buddha Belly, and the fiery Stupid Hot Buzzard’s Breath. 🐲

Fun fact: our hottest sauces sell out first. ☝🏼👀Coincidence? We think not. Sure, they bring the heat, but every bottle is packed with flavor. Even the milder ones—for those who claim they don’t like hot sauce. (Those people are liars 😉).
