While out on hikes, I fill my pockets with tree branches, seed pods, and flowers to use as inspiration in the pottery studio. You’ll see a lot of imprints, natural finishes, and organic forms.

Have I ever mentioned my Great Aunt Floss? She was instrumental shaping the creative culture of the Northeast Minneapolis Art District and has created a vibrant and purposeful community thru her art.

This weekend, she hosted our family reunion. I asked her and her 98-year-old brother their secret to a long and happy life. Their answer? ✨️ Be creative, go outside, never stop dancing. ✨️

Years ago, she bought this vacant lot and turned it into a beautiful community art park. She installed these sculptures 35 years ago and the park is still used by the neighborhood today.

What a way to leave a positive, lasting legacy! She is my inspiration. ❤️

The 8th Annual PSAW was a huge success even with the rain! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our art.

And a HUGE thank you to my sister and niece who helped run my booth while I took take of event duties. I wouldn't be able to do what I do without their help. And, honestly, they are much better at selling my pots than I am!

I'm feeling aligned and excited for what's to come! Onward!
