I first started tying knots when I was in the barracks while serving in the Army. At the time it was hemp necklaces and bracelets, not 550. While being deployed to Iraq in 2004 I decided to try the same met

hods I used on hemp with paracord and just like that I made a few bracelets! At the time I didn't have any clips so I had to resort to a button off my DCU pants. The name Dragon Cords comes from my unit 1st battalion, 14th Infantry regiment.(1-14 inf) Golden Dragons!
