It was so great to see so many happy people out this weekend. A huge thank you to the PBG for putting together a successful outdoor market for pride this year. I had so much excitement/anxiety going in and much to my relief not only was it not horrible… I had a freak’n blast. Ideally here I would be showing things to be sold and not the other way around. But that’s where we are. Whatcha gunna do. Here are some of the things that sold Saturday. A number of glass bananas, a vintage miniature enamel tea pot, a vintage Japanese sake set, some beautiful metal castings ( the smallest is still avail), an art piece by Adahn Stewart (mass art grad I met selling outside tower records in the 00’s), a BCBG purse I sold WAAAAAY under value cause a mother was buying it for their teenage NB q***r child celebrating their first pride, a Barmah Hat from Australia, a number beautiful Lunares Aluminum Serving Trays I still had from when I had a furniture store, a handful of these playful Michael Aram Door pulls, a stunning Amethyst encrusted compact (which the buyer is going to be turning into a locket! Can not wait), Denim Kimono Jacket #1+ (it was the first one I started making for production but then also got longer sleeves when I incorporated a second artists work, AND a stunning Letterman Poncho to an amazing woman who was out celebrating her 50th with some friends.
