It's that time of the year again. Our special teacher from Oregon, Marchelle Burnham, will be here again. The dates are June 20th and 21st from 10 am to 6 pm. She will be doing clay lifting, brush strokes, non-fired decals, and raku. If you are interested in the classes give us a call 801-356-6494.

Day 1of Marchelle Burnham’s class is in the books. Airbrushing, raku, paint stix and a little glass. Everyone is having fun with their projects, and learning something too!

Marchelle is coming back!!
Marchelle Burnham will be here with new techniques on October 18th and 19th.
The projects this year are;
The dowel snowman done with acrylics, pen and ink, and paintstix. $73
Holly plate done with airbrush. $75
Leaf cup $65, or bowl $80 in raku. And,
Dirty pour on glass. (Not pictured yet) $65
Sign up for Friday and/or Saturday. Space is limited. Class includes piece, paints, and lunch. Bring your own brushes. Classes start at 10:00am to 6:00pm

Last week we took Patty back to the Redwoods, the Big Tree, and the ocean for her birthday. I think she’s happy with her new home.

Patty’s Ceramics will be closed July 21st through July 29th as we take Patty for one last ride to the Redwoods.
We will reopen on July 30th for normal business hours.

Patty’s Ceramics is having an Open House on June 24th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Come learn new techniques with the products you already have and learn about some new ones. We will be teaching shaded cobblestone, glaze layering, texture glaze, fabric covers, and bubbles. Techniques will be taught on bud vases or puffy hearts. Cost is $15 per technique. Cost includes piece, product, use of brushes and any needed firing.
No appointment needed, just come on in and have some fun.

Marchelle Burnham and Laura Lyle will be teaching 4 exciting classes on June 21st and 22nd. We will be doing a stain glass technique on the large pot. Raku on the vase, and paintstix on the leprechauns. The forth class will be painting on glass.
Classes will run from 10:00 until 6:00 each day and lunch will be provided. You can join us Friday or Saturday, or come both days. You’re welcome to learn any, or all 4 techniques.
