This is the best weathered wood I have ever seen. The outside surface has the classic barn wood look, while the inner core is solid. This makes for a reliable and durable piece of vintage outdoor furniture. I have expanded into weathered Adirondack furniture because of the consistency and the look of this wood. This weathered wood is reclaimed snow fence that is perfectly cured by the Wyoming wind, snow, rain and extreme temperatures. It requires no kiln drying or sealant. The architecture of snow fence keeps boards well above the ground, so the wood remains completely useable and unaffected by bugs or ground moisture. The wood is virtually untouched by humans or animals during its decade or more tenure on the prairies and hills, which means that while it weathers, it maintains its integrity and strength for second use.
