Your headlamp has blinded every hiking partner you've ever turned to talk to. They just never said anything.

That's the part nobody warns you about: it's not just glare on the trail, it's every time you look sideways at someone mid-conversation. Straplights mount to your pack straps instead of your head, so the beam stays locked on the ground ahead of you, not wherever your neck happens to turn.

If your group has started walking a few feet further back from you at night, this might be why. Try pointing the light at your feet instead of your face.

Strap lights go on the bag before I even head out 🔦 540 lumens, wide beam, red light, and they clip right onto your shoulder straps. Link in bio.

Never worry about getting caught at night without a light. Put straplights in your backpack with three simple velcro attachments!

Watch a headlamp beam for three seconds while the wearer walks. It swings left, right, up, down, exactly with their head. That is not a defect, it is how headlamps work, and it is why your eyes are tired by mile six.

Straplights mount to your shoulder straps instead of your skull. The beam stays locked on the trail ahead of your feet no matter which way you turn to check a switchback or talk to your hiking partner. No bounce, no blinding the person next to you when you glance over.

Still want a headlamp for reading a map up close. Fair, keep one in the pocket. But for actually moving down a dark trail, fixed beats swinging. Save this before your next night hike.

We're not asking you to trust 600 lumens, we're asking you to time it. A full charge on Straplights runs up to 10 hours on lower modes, rain included, off a 2000mAh cell that tops up in about three hours over USB-C. No proprietary battery packs, no disposable cells to restock before every trip. If a gear brand can't tell you exactly how long their light lasts and what it takes to charge it, that's the number they're hoping you don't ask about. Ours is on the label because we tested it.
