If you're new here, we're Terra Vida — Pueblo's refillery and clean-living shop, started by a Colorado native who believes you shouldn't have to choose between what's convenient and what's responsible.

Every refill you bring in means less plastic in a landfill and fewer harsh chemicals in your home. This month we're sharing tips, myths, supplier stories, and a weekly refill deal — glad you're along for it.

Our new motto says it best: "Choose Better. For You. For Earth."

Educational: The Toothpaste Tube Problem

Quick question, Pueblo: have you ever recycled a toothpaste tube? 🤔

Probably not — because you basically can't. Most toothpaste tubes are made of mixed plastic and aluminum layers that recycling facilities can't separate. So billions of tubes head straight to the landfill every year, where they'll outlive all of us.

And here's the thing — it's not your fault. We were never given a better option... until now. 😉

Come by this week and we'll show you what toothpaste looks like without the tube. (Hint: it fits in a cute little tin, it travels beautifully, and TSA will never confiscate it again. ✈️)
