Summer has flown by! Now busy packing, painting and sorting out which treasures to bring to Country Chicks Centralia in just a few weeks! I'm starting with some fall and Halloween decor and a little Christmas too. And as always, lots of vintage & rusty stuff! Sneak peek below.

I wish they still made (and gave away!) calendars like this. There are "pockets" behind the dates each month to tuck in receipts or reminders or recipes or whatever you want. Measurements, temperatures, cook times.....all stuff you can find online, but I like this better.

It's Chicks Week in Centralia! The show runs from 10 to 5 on Friday, May 8, and 10 to 4 on Saturday, May 9 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Centralia. Looks like the weather will be perfect!

I love this beautiful old Art Deco coffee pot. Though she's probably served her last cup of coffee, she makes a wonderful vase! Or how about using a teacup to enjoy some spring flowers on your breakfast table? We have many wonderful vendors coming to this show and you just might find something you didn't know you needed!

Vintage Rusty Reimagined will be on the back wall of the grandstands - to the right after you come in the door. Stop by and say hello if you make it to the show!

Excited spring shows are almost here!

Next up is THE GREAT JUNK HUNT Puyallup this coming weekend - April 24-25! Susi's Stuff Country Crafts and I will be in the same spot we were last fall - at the end of the aisle one row past the bar! We'll post pics as we get set up on Thursday.

I love antique books - most of these are from the early 1900s. They have such unique covers and offer a glimpse into the past. I'll bring these and others to The Great Junk Hunt (Puyallup, April 24-25) and to Country Chicks (Centralia, May 8-9). They are great for displaying in vignettes, using as risers, in mixed media artwork and junk journals....or of course, just for reading!
