Christmas is starting to make its way into The Cottage, and I couldn’t resist unwrapping this beauty! 🎄

This Vondels rosé w**e glass ornament is absolutely gorgeous! From the delicate clear glass to the blush-colored “w**e” inside, it almost looks like you could take a sip!

Vondels ornaments are mouth-blown, hand-painted, and designed with love. The attention to detail is incredible!

The most underrated tool in a flower shop might surprise you!

It’s not floral shears, a knife, or even a pair of clippers. It’s a FLOOR SQUEEGEE!

When you’re working with buckets of water all day, spills are bound to happen! And when they do, this little tool is a lifesaver.

It’s not glamorous, but it’s definitely one of the hardest-working tools in our shop!

Wonder what I’m eating?

We just brought in a new chocolate line at The Cottage Flowers & Gifts called The Conscious Bar, and I’m pretty excited about this one!

Since I’m allergic to soy, finding chocolate I can actually enjoy isn’t always easy. These bars are made without soy and are naturally sweetened with dates. And the best part? I can’t even taste the dates!

Today I’m trying the Toasted Coconut, and it’s so good! You can actually see the toasted coconut flakes in every piece!

We currently carry four delicious flavors: Toasted Coconut, Espresso Crunch, Roasted Hazelnut, and Orange Blossom.

Stop by The Cottage and pick up a bar (or two!) to try for yourself!

Part 2 is here! It’s time for Ashley’s official Witches Brew taste test!

First, we learned something! After 8 hours in the freezer, our D’Marie Witches Brew was a little more frozen than we expected. We recommend letting it sit on the counter for a few minutes so it’s easier to pour.

Now for the taste test! Ashley says you can actually taste the bubbles from the Prosecco! Think Prosecco meets margarita, with a refreshing lemon-lime flavor. Basically, an adult snow cone!

Sounds like the perfect drink for a Halloween party!

The glamorous life of a florist!

Tyler and I had just finished setting up wedding flowers when we realized we had forgotten one very important thing… a broom!

Of course, we couldn’t leave a single leaf behind, so we had to pick them all up by hand. Tyler decided his pockets were the perfect place to store them. And apparently, he had quite the collection!

But once the cleanup was finished, we got to step back and admire this beautiful tablescape featuring a lush floral garland woven around candelabras.

Sometimes it’s the little behind-the-scenes moments that make wedding setups memorable!
