Inspired by countless mornings hunting with my dad on the family farm, waiting for that trophy buck to emerge from the timber, I wanted to create more than just another candle. I wanted to create a story. A collection that captures the spirit, tradition, and memories of the Midwest outdoors.

From the custom-designed forest green X-shaped wooden wick that crackles like a campfire at deer camp, to the carefully selected fragrances that evoke crisp autumn mornings and evenings in the woods, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create something truly unique.

The scents are incredible. The quality is uncompromising. And the experience is unlike anything we've ever offered before.

For the past several years, I've quietly been pouring a tremendous amount of time, research, and energy into something new.

What started as a personal challenge rooted in my own experiences as a journalist covering flooding here in the Midwest slowly grew into something much bigger. Countless hours of testing, refining, and starting over have gone into creating a product line that I'm incredibly excited to soon share.

It's inspired by riverbanks, levees, backroads, campsites, and long days spent in the places many of us love most.
The launch is getting closer, and I think you're going to be surprised by what's coming.

Hint: It's not a Candle!

Quincy Candle Co. is proud to announce that a custom handcrafted candle created in Quincy, Illinois, will be part of the May 29th Grand Opening of the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. Select attendees at the opening day celebration will receive the candle as a commemorative keepsake tied to this historic milestone. 🎉

The custom candle captures one of the park’s most beloved traditions, the unmistakable aroma of fresh funnel cakes, bringing to life the nostalgia and memories generations have experienced at Six Flags Great America. 🍿✨

As part of the anniversary festivities, Six Flags Great America sought to showcase Illinois-based businesses, helping bring a local touch to the celebration.

Founded in 2024 by lifelong Quincy resident Robert Turek, Quincy Candle Co. has quickly become known for its handcrafted candles that celebrate Quincy heritage, Midwest memories, and custom-designed fragrances for businesses and organizations alike. Quincy Candle Co. candles are available locally at Loyd's Gifts & Collectibles in Historic Downtown Quincy. 🕯️💛
