Hey everyone!! I haven’t posted in a LONG time - life has been….life-ing!

While I technically closed intake last fall, I’ve been busy with all sorts of projects and wanted to do a bit of a photo dump.

Some of these are old that I never posted, some are works in progress. A few quilts went out without me taking photos, some went out and I couldn’t post because they were gifts. Whatever the case may be - I’m coming back around to sharing my work again!

I’m working through some beautiful custom quilts that I’ll be sharing over the next few weeks and can’t wait for you to see them!

Here’s one of the MANY of the quilts I’ve worked on lately and I just haven’t had time to focus on doing content around these.

For those who don’t know - we’re in the process of selling our home, trying to find a new one (😅), and I’m an assistant coordinator for our county’s Toys for Tots program. All of this while Ryan is at work the ENTIRE month of December so I’m flying solo!! On top of working full time and quilting!!

Life has been a blur that last several weeks and I’m just over here trying to maintain my sanity with late night quilting sessions when I can! 🤣🤣

I have TONS of cool quilts to share, just need to get back into the swing of documenting them. I’ll be wrapping up a really striking custom here soon that I can’t wait to share with y’all!! Red, white, and black quilts are what I’m drawn to most and the one coming soon will not disappoint!! ❤️🤍🖤

THANK YOU for making this year a success and giving me something to do to keep my brain happy amidst all the chaos! I love all my customers and supporters!

Sending a big THANK YOU to our veterans today.

I’m lucky to have been basically raised at Great Lakes Naval Base and the Armed Forces Reserve Center River Grove - mentored by many active duty and reservists when I was a Sea Cadet for about 10 years. Having friends who went on to defend our freedom but never made it home, and some friends who made it home, but were not the same and lacked support, has driven me to support and serve our military members in any way I can throughout my life.

This video is often played at our QOV ceremonies and it always brings a few tears to the eye, but nails the sentiment perfectly. QOV is just one avenue I dedicate time to in order to support veterans. The Wood County Marine Corps League is another. If you are looking for a way to give back, I’m happy to help find an organization near you!

As we celebrate our countries founding it is also, I feel, a must to thank the Men and Woman of our Armed Forces who are serving to keep this country free.

With 4th & Main Designs by Scott A Flanagan – I'm on a streak! I've been a top fan for 14 months in a row. 🎉

Of course I’m a top fan! Scott is someone I consider a friend, my Neuro buddy (we call each other this lovingly because we both have neuro complications and we cheer each other on behind the scenes, trust me!) and a valuable resource in the quilting world. I pick his crazy talented brain all the time with my quilting stuff! Thanks for being there to talk me down when I’m having a thread color crisis 😂.

Y’all go give him a follow, his patterns are just beautiful, his fabric is stunning, and he’s so very helpful to his community. He’s just an awesome person!

I’ve been putting off this post but it’s time to make it.

I’m closing quilt intake until further notice. Between my current queue of quilts and things we have going personally, I just can’t add anymore at the moment.

I know some great people around here that I can refer you to depending on your needs - reach out and I’m happy to help. If you have a quilt you specifically want me to do, we can talk about it but I likely won’t take possession until the end of the year, or maybe even January depending on our personal stuff.

Enjoy this little sneak peek of a super special custom computerized that I’ve been working on. I have several I’ve been bouncing between and will have lots of fun pictures coming soon! I just haven’t prioritized social media lately as I focus on other things ☺️

Finished up this semi-custom collage quilt today for my customer Janie.

I used an edge to edge design all around the boot and added some extra flair using a little free motion and a black and brown variegated thread on the boot.

Here are two QOVs I wrapped up before leaving for St. Louis!

I’ve had to put my volunteer quilting on hold because y’all have been keeping me busy! Between all your beautiful quilts and life in general, there isn’t enough of me 😂

These beauties have been sent back to Pottsboro to provide some comfort to veterans in that area ♥️🤍💙
