Today we got to SURPRISE a client.
I never get to do that!!!!! It was so fun!

While we worked another project she had- which had a crunchy timeline along with my couple of days off coming up this week….
I snuck in some weekend and evening hours and finished up this beauty on my OT to make sure her home had an extra important ‘glow’ before her family reunion weekend arrived!!!

So blessed to have such amazing people to work for AND such great projects to accomplish! ❤️👌

See y’all next week.

Sometimes it’s the right style.
Sometimes it’s not.
Sometimes it’s just damaged and needs just a little more love than the last time around.

That’s where we come in. ❤️🥰👏

While they found the desk that ‘works’ for the space- it needed a little more quality TLC than it had been given in the past.

So they brought her to me and I gave her the full spa treatment.

Now she’s ready to be on desk duty 👍🏻🥂

Today we did a thing.
There is one thing I can’t tolerate….. it’s an imperfect table top.
So even though I was only two coats away from finishing this top- there were a few flaws in the finish I just couldn’t get past.

So it had to come off.
And we started again.
Because out of an entire dining set…. The TOP is the crowning jewel.

So yes. I lost time. I lost money and I lost two days of previous work.
Is it worth it… YEP. 100%.

Because we will never stop striving for perfection.

We’ve got high hopes for this family beauty!
Vintage Ethan Allen.
Made in America.

Can’t find anything like it in the same quality these days…. Not even the current Ethan Allen compares!
So this family decided it’ll be more worthwhile to restore.

We’ve got some cat nail scratches to contend with and the remaining shadows from hours of homework done at this table….. but since the kids are off to college we think it’s pretty safe to redo it now! 🤣🙏

Sometimes the best Friday project is just getting your life back into working order🙌🏻

We do ALOT of messy projects around here and our bench tops get grimy and nasty!

So let’s just take a quick hour today and refresh our workspace for next week, shall we…?

Good thing we have all the things we need on hand to do this kind of work 🤣👌
