Getting ready for the 2026 Radford Highlanders Festival on Moffat Lawn on the beautiful Radford University campus this Saturday from 9 - 4. We’ll be doing presentations and demonstrations throughout the day on hand spinning, all the way from fleece to finished yarn.

Come out and enjoy the sheep herding event, then get hands-on with me at the NRV Dyeworks and Fiber Company booth.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who stopped by our booth at this year’s Greatest Of All Time New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club Festival yesterday! It was truly a joy meeting all of you and getting to geek out about fiber arts with you.

Our next availability is Merctoberfest at the Draper Village Heritage Market just past The Merc on Jones Rd from 9 - 2.

And we hope to see you Oct. 10 for the 2026 Radford Highlanders Festival on the beautiful Radford University campus! Come out for the pipers, Highland Games and Clans, meet the Highland Cattle and sheep and browse through the lovely rainbow of yarns and fibers I’ll have for you.

I’ll also have a full, fresh fleece on display along with these luscious Mohair locks from Kai Mohair in Rural Retreat, VA and will be doing skirting, grading and fiber prep demonstrations and Q&A as well as spinning my little fingers off!
