There’s a lot of loneliness and misery in this world… but none of it is unseen by God.
Hagar knew what it felt like to be mistreated and alone. In the wilderness, God met her, He heard her, and she called Him El Roi: the God who sees me. Sit with that for a minute. 😭 God sees YOU!
One of my favorite old hymns says, “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.” Jesus reminds us that not even one sparrow falls outside the Father’s care. So if you feel forgotten today, remember: God sees the whole of your story, and you can bring Him the parts that still hurt.
