Consumer electronics is shown to be the largest segment of the IoT Smart Home market, but that can be misleading. What that's really saying is that do-it-yourself smart home devices are the largest segment. DIY is great for many. It comes with its own set of benefits and constraints. But if want a luxury bespoke smart home system that you never have to think about because the company that designed and built it has your back for the life of the system - that's what we do. And we want to design at design time and build at build time to truly integrate with the vision of the homeowner.

Our firm's ethos is born from the DoD construction industry where the building technology systems are baked in at design time and installed during construction to the highest of USACE and NAVFAC standards. Our sole purpose in pivoting toward the residential space is because we strongly believe that this same paradigm will begin to emerge here as well. I personally feel that in five-year's time there won't be a new home built without a robust baseline technology package included. And the demand in the market is beginning to bloom right on time. I want to sit down with builders, interior designers, and architects to discuss exactly how we can help formulate your strategy to capitalize on this nascent groundswell.

Customer education is one of the biggest challenges the smart home industry faces. People just generally have difficulty visualizing things they aren't intimately familiar with.
