Zentember was exactly what was needed 🌸🌿

Beautiful flowers, new techniques, lots of laughs, and a room full of people just enjoying the process.

The dahlias were SHOWING OFF, the Pearls of Opar did their thing, the garden roses were gorgeous.

That fuzzy little calyx is hiding something pretty spectacular underneath, and sometimes she just needs a little help making her entrance.

Hi, this is me...👋🏽

I'm Darcie Garcia Aifd. The woman behind The Florapist.

If you've been here for a while, you probably know I love flowers. But what you may not know is that I don't just arrange them, I use them to help people celebrate, connect, heal, and sometimes just breathe for a little while.

Flowers have carried me through some of the happiest moments of my life...and through the hardest. They became part of my own healing after tragedy, that changed everything about the way I design and the way I love people.

I'm a Bronx girl living in Raleigh, a proud AIFD(American institute of Floral Designers) designer, teacher, speaker, coffee drinker, Biscuit's mama, ChaCha X2,and someone who will happily sit across from you and have a real conversation.

So if you're new here...welcome. 💜💐 I'm really glad you found me!
