The Color of the Year 2023 from Sherwin Williams! The exciting part is speculating how the color will be used in accessories, furnishings, etc. Redend Point is a warm, rich brown with definite red undertones.

Today’s project: determining color placement on an architectural detail in a Victorian home. Gave the client two options. One matching the decorative stain glass in the home’s windows and the other matching wall colors and trim. Both great choices.
Sometimes there are many good choices but only one preference!

Interesting article from Sunday’s NYT Style Magazine on mirror shapes. Mirrors can be such a beautiful way to bring light into a space. These mirrors, with their interesting shapes, bring style and light!

Whether arched, ovoid or amorphous, the latest styles are assuming unexpected forms.
