I was only “browsing”… (like I always do…) and then Labor Day sales + restocks started getting dangerous. 😂

These are the home finds that made me stop—some are major markdowns, some are finally back in stock, and some I already own and would absolutely buy again.

I knew this version looked better—but once I broke down why, it made so much sense. 👀

The biggest difference? Shape + color. Creating a triangle with the decor gives your eye somewhere to go, and repeating the accent color gives your styling spot a theme.

Next I’ll break down the size + number of pieces, because that changes everything too and scale is something I struggle with myself.

Every room in this house will have a turn being “perfectly fine”… right before I redesign it to be better. 😂

I don’t want a different house—I just really love figuring out how to make the one we have feel more beautiful, more functional, more finished, and more like who we are today without spending a fortune.

And judging by the list still living in my head, I’m nowhere near done.

Walmart is making it VERY hard to pretend I don’t need anything for fall. 😂 I pulled the pieces that feel warm and seasonal without taking your house straight from summer to pumpkin patch—and so many of them look way more expensive than they are. As always, the good Walmart finds tend to disappear fast, so if you see something you love, I would not wait too long.

I don’t know why getting myself up the stairs is so daunting. I probably ate too much + I’m mom-tired.

Just wish that last hurdle could be outsourced sometimes. 😆

I think the pieces with a story are usually the ones that make a house feel the most like yours. This bench started on Fbook Marketplace, painted the legs a blue I mixed and folded/stapled a tablecloth to the top 😆—and now I love it more than plenty of things I could’ve bought new.
I’ll always share the finds I think are genuinely worthy of your attention, but I also want this space to be about making thoughtful homes—not just constantly adding more stuff.
