Contrast trim does the opposite. It frames windows, highlights millwork, and gives a room depth and dimension that feels intentional and elevated. It’s proof that sometimes the most impactful design choices are also the simplest.

Ever walk into a room and think, “Something’s not right, but I can’t put my finger on it”?

Usually, it’s not your furniture, it’s the physics! Design is 10% what you buy and 90% where you put it. From ”Floating Rug Syndrome” to the tyranny of “The Big Light,” these common mistakes happen to the best of us.

Back in April, we had the honor of participating in Curated for a Cause, benefiting The Green Chair Project.

The Green Chair Project does incredible work throughout our community, helping families transition out of homelessness, crisis, and displacement by providing the furnishings and essentials needed to create a comfortable, welcoming home.

We’re so grateful to The Green Chair Project for the meaningful impact they make every day, and to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this event such a success.

May, you were a good one ✨

From wallpaper events to vendor meetings, client presentations, installs, and everything in between, this month was full in the best way. It’s always amazing looking back and seeing how much can happen in just a few weeks.

We’re so grateful for every client, collaboration, and opportunity that continues to grow Jess Borrelli Designs. Excited to see what June has in store for us!
