Three photos that make me stop and think… I DID THAT. 🥹✨

Sometimes I get so caught up in the orders, the deadlines, and everything that goes into running this business that I forget to stop and look at how far we’ve actually come.

Three years ago, I was fighting with my little single-needle embroidery machine for my liffffffe, teaching myself as I went, making mistakes, watching tutorials, and wondering if I could really turn this little idea into something bigger.

And now? Looking at where we are today is honestly WILD. 🥹 From that one machine to the equipment, the skills, the orders, the opportunities, and the community we’ve built… it’s a reminder that growth doesn’t always happen overnight, but every little step adds up.

If you’ve been here since the beginning, watching me figure things out one mistake (and probably a few choice words 😂) at a time, THANK YOU for being part of this journey.

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still figuring things out as I go. But damn, I’m proud of the girl who started with one machine and a dream and kept going anyway. 🤍

Here’s your reminder to stop, look back, and give yourself credit for how far you’ve come. Because sometimes you really do need to look at your own work and say… I DID THAT. 🥹🫶🏼

No but for real because I genuinely feel bad when someone thinks something costs too much. I want to help everyone, make everyone happy, and sometimes my first instinct is to offer a discount just so I don’t feel bad. 🫠

But then I have to remind myself that there is SO much more that goes into a product than what you see at the end. 🫶🏼

It’s the time spent sourcing quality products and finding the right blanks. It’s the hours spent designing, tweaking, resizing, changing colors, and making sure every little detail is JUST right. It’s the test runs, the wasted materials, the machine maintenance, the supplies, the equipment, the packaging, and the time it takes to actually bring an idea to life. And that’s before we even talk about the time spent communicating, answering messages, and making sure every customer gets something they absolutely love. 🥹✨

So yes, I might feel bad when my prices aren’t in everyone’s budget, because I genuinely want to make things affordable. But I also have to remind myself that my time, creativity, skills, and hard work have value, too. ❤️

I can empathize with someone’s budget without undervaluing my business. I can understand that something might not be affordable for everyone without feeling obligated to lower my prices.

I have a heart, not a nonprofit. 😂💀 And as much as my empath heart struggles with it sometimes, I’m learning that standing by my prices is part of running a sustainable small business. 🫶🏼

This week reminded me that sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down.

We started this month with a big goal of reaching 1,000 followers, and while we’re still working toward it, we’ve realized something important…growth isn’t just a number.

What we’re building is exactly what we want it to be. We are focusing on real connections, supportive customers, and a community that actually wants to be here. We’d rather grow organically with people who genuinely enjoy following along than chase a number just to say we hit it.

At the end of the day, follower count doesn’t define a successful business. The orders, the relationships, the opportunities, and the people who continue to support us mean so much more.

So we’re going to keep showing up, keep creating, keep learning, and keep growing at the pace that’s meant for us.

If our younger selves could see what we’ve built so far, we’d make them pretty proud. And honestly, that’s the goal that matters most. ❤️
