RCQ Design, LLC Masterfully creating beautiful, authentic, and functional interiors for 25+ years — RCQ Design, LL Rina isn’t your regular one-stop designer, she does it all.

Rina Capodieci-Quinn — Principal Designer

Rina is an ASID (American Society of Interior Design) certified interior designer who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from one of the strongest interior design programs in the area, The University of Bridgeport. Unlike many others, Rina is a designer who knew her intended career path from a very young age. As a teenager she was constantly redesigning her bedroom; repainting, rearranging, and even stapling bed sheets to her walls as if to upholster them—a make-shift version of what she does now. After graduating with Cum Laude status in 1987, she hopped right into the design world working for the highly renowned Barbara Ostrom. Just three years later she ventured on her own, opening a well-respected firm, Higher Limit Design, Inc. Which coincided with her retail showroom Rina’s Armoire. No project is too big for her because her knowledge goes beyond the creative. She regularly collaborates with builders and architects to ensure any project she’s on comes together seamlessly. Her range as a designer includes renovations, complete knock down to turn-key builds, and commercial projects such as the Rockleigh Country Club.

Does your home really work for the way you live?

At RCQ, we believe great design begins with understanding how you actually live in your space.

Where does everyone gather when you entertain?

Which room rarely gets used?

What’s the one thing about your home that drives you crazy?

We ask questions like these before we ever begin designing.

Now, we’re turning the tables and asking YOU.

Introducing the RCQ Home Reality Check — five quick questions, 60 seconds, and maybe a new perspective on your home.

✨ Take the quiz through the link in our bio.

Interior designers or exterior designers? At RCQ, sometimes we’re both. 😉

When we join a new construction project from the ground up, we’re weighing in on it ALL—the stone, roofing, shutters, flower boxes, lighting, piping… you see it? We had a say in it.

And once the project wraps, we can keep things fresh year-round with florals, décor, and property management.

Keep what you love. Reimagine everything around it. ✨

That was the starting point for this dining room transformation.

Our clients already owned pieces they wanted to keep, so the goal wasn’t to replace—it was to reimagine. New lighting, tailored window treatments, artwork, color, texture, and layers of detail completely changed the way the room feels.

The existing pieces found new life within the design, and the finished space feels collected rather than simply “new.”

Because sometimes the best transformations begin with what’s already there.

Design seems like all fun and games until you realize just how many decisions there are to make… Luckily—or perhaps unluckily—every option is so good. Meaning you really can’t go wrong, but also… how are we supposed to pick?!?

In a world full of AI interior design renderings, here’s some real sh*t… excuse our French. 😉

RCQ summer in real time: finishing touches, new projects, photoshoots, and a little family time in between.

Because making things pretty is one thing. Making them happen is another.

Need a design team that can do both? You know who to call.

Because great design is timeless.

And that’s exactly how we feel about this bathroom—still one of our favorites to date.

Spa-inspired serenity, a dramatic vaulted ceiling, and a soft, calming palette balanced by the warmth and beauty of natural wood. Breathtaking, inviting, and designed to feel as beautiful today as the day it was completed.
