We are two weeks away from our Pickers & Peddlers Market!
We will have people set-up selling antiques, vintage items, primitives, rusty garden decor, seasonal items, wreaths & florals, decorative table lanterns, embroidered & crocheted items, dishtowels with crocheted tops, Christmas ornaments, quilted bows, turquoise jewelry, aprons, crossbody bags, quilted wall hangings, small quilts, furniture, hand-painted artwork, keychains, great food, coffee, and much more!

Congratulations to Lynn Collins! Such a great lady!

40 years. One incredible legacy. 💙

Today, United Way of East Central Alabama had the privilege of celebrating our Lifetime of Excellence Award. This years recipient is someone who has been part of the heart and foundation of this organization for four decades.

Congratulations to Lynn Collins, recipient of United Way of East Central Alabama’s Lifetime of Excellence Award. 🏆

Lynn’s United Way story began when she came to the organization as a work-study student in high school. And thankfully for all of us, she never left.

Over the past 40 years, Lynn has served this organization through seasons of growth, change, challenges and tremendous opportunity. She has been part of 40 United Way fundraising campaigns and 40 community allocation processes, and has worked alongside countless board members, volunteers, community partners and staff.

She began her United Way career on the program side before finding her home in finance and accounting, where her love of order, organization, color-coded systems and, of course, a balanced budget, has made her an invaluable part of our team. 💚

But Lynn’s impact has never been just about numbers.

The budgets she balanced and the dollars she stewarded became books placed in the hands of children, families connected to help, young people given another chance, neighbors finding stability and resources placed where they could do the most good.

That is Lynn’s legacy.

For 40 years, she has provided a foundation of strength, wisdom, integrity and stewardship that has helped United Way of East Central Alabama grow, adapt and continue serving our community.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate you. Congratulations on a Lifetime of Excellence. 💙💚

And as Shannon said today… after 40 years, this award is WELL DESERVED, and thankfully, Lynn isn’t done yet!❤️

Hello friends. Just a heads up I will be closing Farmporium early today at 3 Al time to go to the Hope Outdoors Banquet at RFBC. I pray you all have a happy and safe weekend!
