Dick's Rancho Glass is a full service glass shop serving the greater Sacramento area for over 60 years! We are a family run business and many of our employees have been with us for 10, 20, 30+ years. Our shop is in the business of selling windows, doors, glass, shower enclosures, mirrors, storefronts and various shop work. We pride ourselves on having a great reputation and we believe that much of our success is a result of having great employees that are both highly skilled and people of integrity.
We are looking to fill many positions: Outside glaziers, apprentice glaziers (will train), inside sales/customer service and shop glazier/screener.
Outside glazier position: We are looking for a hard working, self-motivated individuals with glazing experience. Having a clean DMV record is absolutely required. We need someone who can be insured to drive our company insured vehicles. This job requires that you must be experienced enough to work alone and problem solve but as the same time you must be able to work well with others. Many of our jobs require two or more men on one job and you must be able to work together as a team. Glazier should own their own tools. Work tasks include but are not limited to: Cutting glass, single pane and insulated glass reglazes, installing windows (retrofit) measure and install mirrors, glass shower and tub enclosures, frameless shower enclosure, screens, commercial plate re-glazes, table tops, shop work, receiving, ladder work etc.
Full time customer service/inside sales representative position:
Applicants should be able to read/write/type, read a tape measure and should have experience with Microsoft Access and Excel. Customer service experience is very important. Applicants should be courteous, professional, hard working individuals with the ability to problem solve and work well with others. Tasks include but are not limited to answering calls, helping customers at the front desk, selling, taking orders, placing orders, receiving, scheduling and dispatching.
Full time shop glazier/screener:
This job requires applicants to be able to read a table measure, use hand tools and power tools, must be able to lift 75 lbs, clean DMV. Job tasks include: receiving shipments from suppliers, checking materials for accuracy and defects, shop work (single and dual pane re-glazes, cut single pane glass and mirrors, fabricate screens, move heavy pieces of glass, maintain an organized shop, and work effectively and efficiently.
