🍂 Let’s Give a Little “Thanks” 🍂

This year, Boxer Craft House is teaming up to make Thanksgiving placemats for the residents and caretakers at the Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown. 🧡

The Canterbury Center cares for more than 60 of our community’s seniors, and we’d love to help make their Thanksgiving meal a little more special. We have 65 placemats left to make, and we need our quilty pals to help us get them sewn! 🧵🪡

🧵🐭 I came to Disney looking for Hidden Mickeys… and found SEWING EASTER EGGS instead! 😂

On our past Disney trips with the kids, we were all about finding Hidden Mickeys. And believe me, we still LOVE the Hidden Mickey hunt! 🐭❤️

But this trip, with just Wayne and I celebrating our 20th anniversary, we’ve been moving at a much slower pace. No rushing from one thing to the next, and I found myself actually stopping to look around, and seeing Disney from a completely different perspective.

And apparently, that perspective is SEWING! 😂🧵

Once I started noticing them, I couldn’t stop! There are so many fun little sewing and quilting nods tucked all over the parks. Of course, the B*H girl in me had to take pictures. 📸

So here are a few of the sewing Easter eggs I spotted along the way. Consider it my new version of the Hidden Mickey hunt! 😉

This trip has been absolutely wonderful, but today we’re flying home and, as much as I love Disney… I AM READY TO GO HOME! ❤️

I’m ready for B*H, my sewing machines, my fabric, my people, my pets and yes… probably a mountain of laundry. 😂

Disney may have the magic, but sewing is definitely where my eyes go! 🧵✨

A special thank you to my staff who helped keep B*H opened while I was gone. I can’t wait to see to all tomorrow! 😘

💍❤️ 20 YEARS, AN UNEXPECTED MOVE & A LOT OF GRATITUDE! ❤️💍

We finally made it! Wayne and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary with a little getaway! 🥰🎉

We were supposed to take this trip in May, but our unexpected move had other plans! 😂 Between closing our old shop, opening our new Shepherdstown location, and getting B*H back up and running, our anniversary trip had to wait.

But here we are! ❤️

While we’re enjoying some much-needed time together, Molly, Julie & Whitney are holding down the fort at B*H, and I couldn’t be more grateful. These ladies work so hard, take amazing care of our customers, and most importantly…they always take good care of me. 🥹❤️

And to our incredible sewing community; THANK YOU! 🧵❤️ You’ve supported us through so many changes, and because of you, I can step away for a few days knowing B*H is in wonderful hands.

So here’s to 20 years of marriage, an amazing team, and the BEST sewing community around! 🥂❤️

Now excuse me while I go enjoy my anniversary vacation! 😂🌴
