We are all moved in and ready for a summer filled with fresh milled baked goods, farm fresh produce & eggs, and hand made everything.

Our baked goods here in the coop don’t start with a bleached, stripped , and fortified bag of flour that’s sat on the shelf for months. They start right here with an organic wheat berry and a stone grinder, bringing you the most nutrient dense, never stripped, never bleached, never synthetically fortified loaf of bread/baked good that you can feel good about bringing home to nourish your family. Did you know that freshly milled wheat that hasn’t sat on the shelf to oxidize but used right after grinding has 40 out of the 44 daily nutrients your body needs?

So much work done today!! We need to paint or stain the shelves, what are your thoughts, what color do you think would be best? Then we just need some pins so we can lower and raise the awning and add some tie downs once it’s in place. We are so excited to have it up and running soon.

Each of the kids in the coop have their own little businesses and the youngest little chick 🐥 has been busy restocking her bath bombs and milk&oats soak today. Made by Maebry will have her clean body products available at the next market and I bet you will find her at the farm stand as well!

Nothing reminds me of my grandma more than a curtain of fresh noodles hanging to dry and a big bowl of green beans that need snapped, and we planted a lot this year to stock the farm stand with. Would fresh milled noodles be something you’d love to see on market days and at the farm stand?
