It’s sad to say goodbye! As you know, we no longer are going to make minky blankets so therefore will no longer be a part of the minky community. It’s been such a pleasure to have met you all as well as making beautiful blankets for you to cherish. Mother and Daughter Creations is not going out of business but morphing into something different. We will continue to pursue opening more Painted Tree boutiques in the future and strive for more unique opportunities for our customers. We have turned off our website as of right now and will bring it back when we have something new to offer. Our page will only be monitored once in a while so if you need to get a hold of us, please message. The minky community is saturated with blankets and it just wasn’t feasible to continue when customers were selling their blankets at a deep discount and fabric went sky high in price. I have sold the rest of my inventory to Gypsy Soul Minky and she will be making fur baby, throw sizes and lap size blankets. She has been around since 2021 but kept a low profile until now. I expect great things from her! Please give her a chance as you did on me 5 years ago. I have attached her page in the comments. We will miss you all very much and wish you the best.
