Life lately ❤️ Looking forward to a 3 day weekend in the shop. Taking 2 weekends off has felt really weird. I actually can’t remember the last time I took a weekend off. But it’s been a nice break adjusting to being a family of 5 and now it’s back to the grind to keep building this dream of mine 💪🏻❤️

✨Celebrate the Moment✨

It’s so easy to be working towards a goal that you don’t even realize how far you’ve come. This year I made a promise to myself that I would acknowledge those milestones no matter how big or small.

It all started by popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate with friends and family. When my friend handed the cork back to me at the end of the night I thought “I’m gonna keep this” and then it hit me. Could I engrave this cork?

Well, ya know what? I did and it worked!

This piece is still so surreal to me for several reasons. First, this piece was ordered by my sister and she paid full price without hesitation. Second, she gave me complete creative freedom. Third, I feel like this piece has a bit of an abstract design feel to it and I’m surprised this is where the creative process took me but I AM OBSESSED!!!

70 plus hours (I stopped tracking when I decided to redo all the frames).

232 hand drawn and hand cut pieces. 231 of those pieces are pallet wood. The sun is canary wood. No dyes, stains, or paints were used. The triple frames are made from ash and black walnut.

Our hearts grew a little fuller this past week ❤️ We welcomed a “little” fluff ball last Tuesday. Weighing in at 24.6 pounds at 3 months old we are OVERJOYED to have this sweet little guy. There were fears and concerns adding a 3rd to our lives but he quickly convinced us we made the right decision. Please join me in welcoming “Mack” to the BoomerRang Designs family!
