So here's the story... Thursday night i was mowing lawn and got a very sudden very powerful headache. I only had 2 swipes left of the lawn so i finished up, put the mower away and went inside to take a couple Advil. Within 15 minutes, I knew something wasn't right. So i has my husband take me to the ER. We soon found out I had a brain bleed and after an MRI the next morning, found out it was hiding a 5cm tumor.
By accident from another doctor, we found out surgery was planned for Monday morning. Quite the shock!!
So our doctor was in shortly after that, explaining everything. Said it was a meningioma , which is generally benign. Another great news in a bad situation was that it was on the lining of the brain vs inside the brain.
So Monday I had a 2 1/2 inch square cut, a tumor pulled out, titanium plates put back injured place and possibly the start of the best (and most expensive)Cyndi Lauper convict haircut in history started!
I've already been given authorizing to be at the show on the 25th with rules to sunglasses, heat and covering it to protect from sunburn. They said i may need to go take a break or 2, but as long as I'm staying calm, and not overstimulated, I'm authorized to come!
So I'll be there! We are going to do things SLIGHTLY different which will actually be easier! I'll have my personal driver, my notebook and be ready to rock the new hairstyle!
I didn't realize how much I miss not being able to be at these events! Can't wait to be back!!
