I began the journey to launch this business in 2019. Over the years I had sold candles in the direct marketing world, but always desired the opportunity to design my own line. I wanted the ability to develop my own business plan and create my own products, but always seemed to talk myself out of it. Finally, one day I decided that I needed to put my fears aside, and act on my overwhelming desire t
o build my own business on my own terms. I knew I wanted to create candles that were simple, yet rustic, high quality, and affordable for everyone. I started reading everything about candle making I could get my hands on. I invested in numerous types of jars, wicks, wax, and scents. Evenings in my home turned into candle making adventures where I would try different fragrance loads with different jars, wicks, and waxes. After many months, and many trials and errors my candles were born. My candles are made from soy wax and are scented using high quality fragrance oils. They are hand poured into mason jars in my home. This process creates a rustic, affordable, high-quality candle, which is the idea I founded the company on. As I continue to grow the company my promise is to always create a handmade, high-quality candle for my customers. I put my name on each candle because I believe in my candles and the satisfaction they give my customers. Without you, my customer, I would not be able to continue living out my dream as a business owner. I also contribute my success to my family. Without their love and support I would not be where I am today. My husband is my rock and keeps me moving towards my next goal in my plan and my daughter is one of the best candle saleswomen I have ever met.
